Respect Life

The Respect Life Committee works to promote and preserve the value of all human life from conception to the time of natural death.

Handmaids of the Altar - Dustbusters

The Dustbusters is a group of women (men too) whose purpose is to insure the comfort and cleanliness of the Church. Five groups alternate weekly doing light chores such as washing windows, vacuuming, dusting, etc. Twice a year, at Christmas and Easter, all groups join together for a general cleaning . New members are always needed and most welcome. If you would like to help, please call the Rectory.

St. Vincent De Paul Society

The St. Vincent de Paul Society provides assistance to those in need. Members also participate in such service activities as staffing a local shelter for the homeless and preparing and serving community meals for the needy. The social also provides food for those in need during the holidays. The Christmas Giving Tree is also a St. Vincent de Paul project. Meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month at 7:00P.M. in the Dominican Room. New members are welcome.

Food Collection

Our food collection on the 2nd weekend of the month provides food and personal care items for residents in need. Volunteers and donations of food are always needed. If you are in need of our services or can volunteer your time or nonperishable food products, please call the Sr. Alban at 708-862-3011

Welcome Committee

The Welcome Committee works to make newly registered parishioner feel comfortable and at ease in our parish. Members of the committee meet the 3rd Monday of every other month at 6:30 PM in the Ministry Center to plan welcoming activities. New members are welcome. For more information, please call the Rectory.

Ministry To Divorced & Separated People

This is a caring community of separated and divorced people that emphasizes self-help and provides support and encouragement to other divorced and separated people. This Ministry offers a safe place for those who are divorced or separated to learn to rebuild their lives through peer interaction, compassionate listening and shared experience. This Ministry is ecumenical in nature, All are welcome.
